Exclusive Interview with Celebrity Fashion Designer Vidhi Verma – Get Inspired from her Successful Journey

Introducing the very talented celebrity designer Vidhi Verma. She is young, smart and full of energy. Vidhi believes and supports the idea to empower women. Through her clothing collection, she narrates the story of a woman’s soul. Soul that wishes confidence, love, self-pride, respect & inner peace. Vidhi Verma carefully knits together the faith of a woman into a couture which gives her clients the power of right attitude. Vidhi Verma adds just the extra zing to every piece.

It’s always a pleasure to talk to the super talented designers and so here is my chit-chat with the lady herself.

Me – How old are you? and tell us about your experience.

Vidhi – Who the heck keeps track of their age? I don’t! I have an experience of 4 years with my brand being a fashion entrepreneur.

Me – Where did you graduate?

Vidhi – I did my graduation from NIFT Hyderabad.

Me – What inspired you to become a designer?

Vidhi – I had always this zeal in me to design and innovate such things that solves a problem, I had always been very creative, and was a national artist at my age of 6. So continuing my passion by the edge of decision making at 12th standard I decided to pursue designing from NIFT.

Me – How do you stay up to date regarding fashion and latest trends?

Vidhi – Being surrounded by people is very important firstly, and keeping an eye on the  trends people follow. From there you understand the drift of fashion, and then comes the Internet, magazines, fashion forecasts.

Me – Where do you see yourself in the next five years?

Vidhi – I compete with myself, I give a good competition to myself and my priority in life has always been to be the best version of me, to improve, to grow, to expand take my brand to an empire to be making an impact on the nation’s business and social spheres is where I see going.

Me – How would you describe your personal style?

Vidhi – For me comfort comes first, I prefer minimalism or you say clean design but with a tint of bling in it. So for me the golden rule of design is 90:10 as minimal: bold

Me – How was your experience working with top industry models and celebrities?

Vidhi – It’s always a proud when you get to work with a person who has built themselves so well as an identity or a public figure. And it’s always pleasing  and overwhelming to see your work on them go fierce.

Me –  According to you , who is the most stylish celebrity?

Vidhi – I like Deepika Padukone as she carries herself in the best way, be it casuals, formals or red carpet.

Me – How do you manage your international clients from India?

Vidhi – It’s the same way we do with in India, and the social media plays an angel when it comes to promotions or launching a new line, rest is all up there with our website. We send a measurement sheet for basic figures, and ask them for the particular elements if they are looking for a made-to-measure. We provide end-to end service and easy payment facility for all clients.

Vidhi – Vogue

Me – How is your typical day at work?

Vidhi – Being a fashion entrepreneur, I need to starve my distractions and feed my focus. And since I love what I do, I start at 9am to 8pm. Celebrating and applauding women as the power houses we are. We are strong, resilient, compassionate, we are nothing less than phenomenal.

Me – Share your thoughts about few trending things in the fashion industry?

Vidhi – “INDIVIDUALISM”. It is going to become the next big luxury.

Me – Who are your target audience?

Vidhi – A Women who is super confident, strong, bold and classic.

Me – How many collections have you launched till date?

Vidhi – Four

Me –Please share the idea behind each collection?

Vidhi – My clothing is very timeless and the collections that I launch are some way or the other interlinked with a empowered women (Lets rise, Girl boss, Bliss, High-And-Mighty).
