Huawei Consumer Business Group in collaboration with the celebrity photographer Dabboo Ratnani floated a month-long photography competition. This photography challenges the participants to use Huawei’s latest flagship device- Huawei P20 Pro and capture powerful and provoking images.
This contest was conducted to provide opportunity & give platform to young photographers to express the art and celebrate the power of mobile photography.
The Month-long photography battle between 20 contestants ended and Huawei Consumer Business Group announced deckle Edge (from Instagram) as the winner of #P20ProBattleLeague on 14th July 2018, New Delhi.
The contest was crafted in two phases and revolved around themes like windows, metal, street & macro – B&W. In the first phase among the 20 contestants, the ace photographer selected top pictures from each theme. Then in the second phase four theme winners competed against each other for the finals.
Huawei gifted Deckle Edge (from Instagram), the winner of #P20ProBattleLeague an Amazon gift voucher worth INR 50,000. Also, the winning picture story would be featured in a specially curated coffee table book by Huawei. This coffee table book will also feature some pictures of the contestants along with Dabboo Ratnani photography.
This contest was quite popular on all social channels with more focus on Instagram. The participants had to tag their picture under hashtags #P20ProBattleLeague and #SeeMooore.
