Jingle All the Way in Goa – Perfect Getaway for Christmas and New Year Celebration

‘Goa – A perfect getaway for anytime of the year. But, Goa is magical during Christmas and new year. I was lucky to book a flight in advance from Delhi to Goa and got a great deal. Follow my life celebration @ GOA..

After a short flight of about 3 hours i reached Dabolim, GOA. After collecting my stuff, i reached out to a pre-paid taxi station. My resort was in south Goa so would take around 30-40 mins to reach. I quickly stuffed, boxed and pushed my luggage in the bonnet and jumped to the back seat and asked the driver to “Go Go Go..”

He gave a me “Look”; then took out a small comb from his pocket and brushed his mustache with it. After, this he got to the driver seat and with folded arms he said ” Namaste madam, welcome to Goa”. I acknowledge the same and tried to forget the ‘mustache incident’.

All i wanted him to drive really fast and drop me off to my resort so that i can change into my GOA dress. While, he was driving i scrolled my phone for any messages or missed calls and saw 3 missed call alerts from my mother. As the protocol suggests call your mom after a flight, after getting down from a metro, after you eat, after you get-up, after you reach office, after you sneeze etc… So, yes I called her and informed about my well being. She lectured me about the news she read about the side effects of hard drinks and other addictive. Also, she ensured that i promise her to be responsible.Promising that I will be a “good girl” hung up gazing at the breathtaking view of the city.

After, 20 mins I reached my  resort and the bell guy helped me off load my stuff. I rushed to the reception to get my room keys. Guess what??

After, gorging on to 5 pieces of chocolates I took a shower and got into my beach dress. Beach was about 5 mins walking and so i decided to walk and burn my chocolate calories.

Day 1

The day ended with sipping mimosa on the beach.

Day 2

Woke up to the scent of freshly brewed coffee and sweet baked scones.While lazing on the bed I stretched, rubbed my eyes, yawned twice, pulled my hair back and secured with a band and reached out for my spectacles. Its was a very beautiful morning and a silent one too, I heard no birds chipping only the sweet smell of morning breakfast and cool breeze.

After breakfast, I headed to visit fort Reismagos. This fort is quiet mesmerizing and it’s beauty can enchant anyone. The weather was quiet cool, so it was easy to explore the fort. Reismago fort was initially a defense fortress, after independence it was used as a jail and then a hospital. This place is quiet interesting and features war weapons too. Reismagoes is a hidden jewel in Goa. One must explore & experience it’s tranquillity. Later, that evening was at the beach with a glass of Cosmopolitan.

Day 3

Goa “The party land” houses the best clubs in the country. I chose club SinQ, which is located opposite Taj Holiday Village, Aguada Rd, Candolim. Club is stylishly luxurious with an outside bar and plays the best EDM. So, I made myself comfortable at the pool side cabana and now it’s time for my Martini..

Let the celebration begin..

It’s really hard to remember the night at the party 😉
