Adventures in Hong Kong Disneyland Park – the Happiest Place on Earth!

Alas! What a party.

Totally sober I walked to my apartment & unlocked, got off the pillar high heels and crashed on the bed.

Night, 1 AM

It’s cold, pulling the comforter I glide inside covering my body from head to toe, creating a small passage for my nostrils to stick out. I lay hugging myself with eyes open, staring into pitch darkness searching for something missing. Feeling uneasy, tossing and turning evaluating the emptiness in my robotic life, realized that I need a break. Yes, I need a break from my 9 AM – 9 PM (until my boss leaves the office) job. Want to rejuvenate my soul, revisit my carefree life, It’s time to release the inner six-year-old in me. Need a vacay ASAP.

Holding the thought I fell asleep. Next morning, decided to skip office and plan the much needed holiday. With a cup of coffee, thinking what to google search, still confused where to travel – I closed my eyes and thought real hard, opened and typed in the search for my dream destination – Disney land.

After 9 days, I am at Hong Kong airport. My car arrives and I check-in at Disney’s Hollywood Resort.

Next day

Took a shuttle from the hotel to the park.

My sweet lord…Disneyland – I was jumping with joy and dancing. `Disney theme park is divided into 5 zones

• Toy story land
• Adventure land
• Main Street, USA
• Fantasy land
• Tomorrow land

There are about 4-5 attractions in each zone of the Disney themed park.

De-boarded at the TOY STORY LAND

After enjoying the rides at Toy Story land, I strolled enjoying an ice cream cone to the Grizzly Gulch. Grizzly Gulch area was themed as country side with some really good food joints.

At Grizzly Gulch there were water canyons and mountains and one must ride Grizzly mountain runaway.

Adventure Island

To enter the adventure Land, I had to take a river cruise. The cruise took me to the most astonishing place i.e TARZAN and JANE’s tree house. Yes! a real tree house.

I was swinging tree to tree and suddenly realized that it was time for the Disney parade. Running and sliding down from the tree, skated to the river cruise and reached the bank. With all my might, ran to the central area wishing not to miss the parade.

Wow! I was on time and saw Disney Characters come to life. Tinker bell, Cinderella, Snow white, Beauty, Bella, Ursula, Mickey Mouse and Mini Mouse and so so so so many cartoons dancing and singing. Felt really delighted.

Fantasy Land

This zone had castles and walking fairies. Yes! walking fairies..Beautiful girls dressed and all decked up, flattering their wings and smiling.

Tomorrow Land

The zone was quiet futuristic with high speed roller coaster rides and space ship shaped restaurants.
